Pablo Álvarez-Aragón is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Economics at the University of Bologna. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Center for Research in the Economics of Development (CRED), University of Namur. His research interests include development economics, the economics of religion, and economic history, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa and on gender. He has been a visiting researcher at the Paris School of Economics and the Vancouver School of Economics.
