Research Director, Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research, Bank of Thailand
Nada Wasi is currently a Research Director of Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research (PIER) in Thailand. She is an applied econometrician working in the areas of labor economics, social insurance, pension and consumer choice models.
Before joining PIER, she was a faculty member at the Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. Prior to that, she was also a research fellow at University of Technology Sydney and University of New South Wales. Wasi received a PhD. in economics from University of California San Diego and a BA from Thammasat University, Thailand.
