Eric Robertson

Eric Robertson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Colgate University. His research lies at the intersection of development economics, political economy, and economic history. Eric is currently studying questions concerning performance and policy implementation in the civil service, as well as the modern consequences of colonial-era policy.
Eric received his PhD from the University of Virginia in 2026. Before that, he interned at Merrill Lynch, conducted field research in Rajasthan, India, and worked as a research assistant in Charlottesville, Virginia.
