Kristina Strohmaier

Kristina Strohmaier is Professor of Public Economics at the University of Freiburg. She received her Ph.D. from the Ruhr-University Bochum and held positions at the Universities of Tübingen and Duisburg-Essen. Her research interests comprise (international) taxation, the economics of education, and health economics. Methodologically, she analyses large micro-level datasets to estimate causal effects of public policies. Her work is published in leading international journals, including the Economic Journal, the Journal of Development Economics, the Journal of Public Economics, and the Journal of Human Resources.
