Ran Goldblatt is a Senior GIS Specialist and Analyst at DevTech Inc. He is a geospatial scientist and GIS professional with more than 20 years of experience in remote sensing, spatial analysis, and geospatial data science. His work focuses on applying satellite imagery, machine learning, and large-scale geospatial analytics to support disaster management, humanitarian operations, economic development, and environmental monitoring. He has led and contributed to projects with organizations including the World Bank, FEMA, and international development partners, developing innovative approaches for monitoring urbanization, natural hazards, land-use change, and socio-economic dynamics. Dr. Goldblatt holds a Ph.D. in Geography and the Human Environment from Tel Aviv University and has served as a researcher and lecturer at the University of California, San Diego. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is recognized for advancing the use of geospatial technologies to support evidence-based decision-making.
