Victoria Wenxin Xie is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Santa Clara University. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. Her work spans environmental, urban, trade, and development economics. Her current research examines the local labor market and aggregate impact of mineral demand shocks, climate risk, and green industrial policies using empirical and quantitative spatial methods, with an interest in uncertainty and adaptation.
